Choose your single-piece construction

Check the path beneath the case

A slip-through strap needs suitable space beneath the spring bars and watch case. The material also adds thickness between the caseback and wrist. Lug width alone cannot confirm those clearances or compatibility with a particular attachment system. Check your exact watch before choosing a style.

Compare leather, nylon and Perlon

Leather and Shell Cordovan give a different surface and feel from textile straps. Ballistic nylon is a woven fabric; Perlon has an open braided texture and its own buckle adjustment. Compare product photographs to see the hardware layout and how the strap routes through it.

Read the dimensions for each design

Overall length is not the same measurement as the two separate lengths of a two-piece strap. Available widths, thickness and hardware vary by product. Use the Strap Finder to begin with your exact lug width, and check the selected variant rather than assuming every material comes in every size.

Choose care by material

Leather is not waterproof, and its care routine should not be carried over to nylon or Perlon. Avoid soaking leather and Shell Cordovan or exposing them to excessive sweat. If you need a particular leather width or length, compare the military-style choices in our custom collection and confirm the construction before ordering.
