Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Limited Edition
2019 marks the 50th anniversary of Moon Landing. While it was a huge step for mankind, it was a giant leap for the Omega Speedmaster Professional. NASA chose the Speedmaster professional as the official watch for their space missions and the Moon landing.
Naturally, the Swiss maker has been capitalizing on their Moonwatch series, and they unveiled their latest release in the “Time to Move” trade show. The Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Limited Edition (ref. 310.20.42.50.01.001) was unveiled in the show, and it was announced that the watch will be limited to 6,969 pieces.
The watch will reportedly boast a 42mm steel case with a bezel craft from Omega’s proprietary 18K Moonshine gold with a black ceramic bezel insert. The watch will offer three different dials, and one of them is a depiction of Buzz Aldrin climbing down from the Eagle to take his first moon steps.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph
The popular Seamaster Diver 300M was revamped at the house of Omega. The enhanced version now includes an upgraded model.
With a 44mm case the watch shows off a unidirectional rotating bezel in ceramic. Additionally, the watch also comes with a helium escape valve at 10 o’clock. The new diving chronograph will be made public in a wide variety of available material. Stainless steel, Sedna gold and a perfect combination of both will be offered.
The new chronograph will also feature a wide variety of bezel and dial color choices. It will also be versatile in terms of watch strap choices. The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M will boast a 43.5 mm stainless steel case featuring an orange ceramic bezel. The fresh white dial will offer a striking contrast against the orange bezel. Omega is bringing the orange back, and the audience loved it during the exhibition.
The sapphire case back will also feature tiny glimpses of Master Chronometer Caliber 8900. It will be decorated with arabesque Geneva stripes. The two offered options are as below:

- A striped orange, gray and white military style strap with a steel buckle and strap keepers

“Case” means “house” and “migos” means “friends” in Spanish. Casamigos literally means “house of friends.” The actually watch is Seamaster Planet Ocean “Deep Black” GMT, but with inspiration from Casamigos Mezcal drink by George Clooney, the watch includes a 45.5mm black ceramic case, which apparently includes a matte texture.
It also includes teal markings on the dial (identical to Casamigos’ corporate color) and a dark sapphire crystal caseback. A white lacquered Casamigos logo is also engraved onto the dial to resonate with the Casamigos Mezcal bottle.
