Why Is The Panerai Submersible PAM 1005 Special?
Why is Panerai Submersible PAM 1005 a big deal? Well, this is the first-ever submersible to come out in a military green dial. The words "Verde Militare" refer to this color scheme, and the watch looks like something out of a futuristic sci-fi movie with a striking green dial.

The Resilient Case

This is the first submersible to use this military green color scheme for the dial and the strap. The hour markers and indicators come with white Super-Luminova coating with green or blue luminescence. This enhances the overall readability of the watch and makes it perfect for all environments.
There is a date window at three o'clock, which is quite small but readable. Also, there is a small seconds dial placed at the nine o'clock position. The overall texture of the dial is rugged, and this makes the entire watch look amazing.
The Powerful Movement
Like its predecessor submersibles, Panerai Submersible PAM1055 Verde Militare also uses the in-house caliber P.9000. This in-house movement comes with a massive power reserve of 72 hours (3 days).
Moreover, to enhance the overall anti-magnetism and stability of the timepiece, the movement uses a Glucydur balance. It is a powerful anti-magnetic alloy created from beryllium, copper, and iron.
To ensure that the watch can withstand immense shocks and harsh environments, Panerai used Incabloc shock protection. This mechanism protects the watch against powerful shocks and magnetic surges.
